Friday Faves: Tiny Bites

Posted in Products I Love by

Yay for Friday! It has been a rough week over here. A certain little someone thinks she is 4 going on 14 and it’s been a bumpy ride these last few days. But, more about her another day. This week I have an awesome product I want to share with you for Friday Faves.

Tiny Bites

When it comes to my kids the things I worry most about are eating and sleeping. Thankfully both of my kids are great eaters. They both love food and will try pretty much everything. I didn’t think any child could be as good of an eater as Gia was (and is)…but then Nicholas came along. Around 9 months he started only wanting table food and we totally went with it. Now, at almost 18 months, he eats nearly everything we’re eating. Of course I have to cut everything into smaller, manageable pieces and strips for him. And that’s where Tiny Bites Food Shears come in.

Tiny Bites are the perfect food scissors to use to cut your child’s food quickly and easily. How many times have you tried to cut something cheesy with a knife (quesadilla, anyone?) and half the cheese slides out? It happened to us all the time until we found Tiny Bites!

Tiny Bites food shears have stainless steel, lead-free blades and the handles are sturdy, BPA-free plastic. They are so well-made and I couldn’t believe how quickly and easily they cut through food.  They come in a pack of two and they’re the perfect, portable size so you can keep one in your diaper bag and one in the kitchen. And, Tiny Bites are dishwasher safe. We absolutely love them and every night at dinner my husband now just automatically puts a pair on the table with us so they’re ready when we need them.

I have a pair of kitchen scissors much like these ones and love them. They are great for cutting herbs, raw meat for stir fries, and much much more I use them every day and I don’t have small children in the house anymore.

I wish I had come across this resource when my boys were younger…this is genius! I always felt like cutting things into the correct size was so tedious….this would have helped so much!

Krista, my daughter Dani writes for Daily Mom and she received a pair of these and absolutely loves them too. I saw her cut my granddaughter’s sandwich up the other day and she used these scissors. I thought they were regular scissors and she explained what they were. Coolest things I have seen in awhile. And, now I’m reading your post on them. Too cool!

What a great review and what a great idea for a product! It’s so much more functional than cutting up toddler food with a fork and a knife!

I have a pair of kitchen scissors I use a lot – they work so great for cutting up little bites for kids. We do need a new pair though so I’ll look at these!
