Sparkbox Toys

Posted in Products I Love by

We’re just coming out of a long cold winter and we spent SO many days inside. No matter how often I rotated toys Gia and Nicholas still grew tired of looking at and playing with the same things–and who can blame them? As adults we can buy ourselves something new whenever we want. Kids are stuck waiting for the next holiday or their birthday–or a day when mom or dad is feeling generous and feels like taking them on a shopping spree at Toys R Us. (Cause that always happens, right? 😉 )  What can you do about it? That’s where Sparkbox comes in!

Sparkbox is a premier toy rental service that delivers a box of toys directly to your child. Play with the toys for a month and then send them back so Sparkbox can send you different ones!

Sparkbox Review | The Quinntessential Mommy

We had an opportunity to try Sparkbox and we all loved it! When you join you tell Sparkbox how old your children are and their experts will pick stimulating, educational, developmentally appropriate and FUN toys to put in your box. Each box has quality 4 toys in it and each toy is meant to target different areas of play.

One of the items we got were wooden blocks. Nicholas loved stacking them and knocking them down and Gia loved to use the guide to create pictures and shapes.

Prior to trying Sparkbox I’d heard about toy rental services and was intrigued by the idea. Now that we tried it, I’m sold 100%. Sparkbox really does make it so easy to get the toys and then send them back. Both of my kids loved opening up the box to see what was inside and they played with all the toys very often. Even Gia had fun playing with the baby toys! I was a little worried the Sparkbox toys would get mixed in with our toys and I’d forget to send them back. But, since Sparkbox sends you a return label, I just stored the Sparkbox toys in the return box so that I didn’t have to go hunting when it was time to send them back.

Sparkbox also sends you a mesh bag so you can store toys with multiple pieces (aka the blocks they both loved so much). They also include a free return shipping label so when you’re done with the toys it’s super easy to send them back. And, toys are vigorously cleaned and sanitized between shipments so you never have to worry about germs.

This sounds like such a great idea. We tend to rent toys from our library, but sometimes they are just too old and worn out. Pinning!

I love this idea! I wish my kids were still young enough for cute little toys like this. Now it’s computers, IPods, digital cameras, etc.

Those actually look like really nice quality toys. At that price, it’s a really good deal. Cool find!
