The summer is quickly coming to a close and we’re getting ready to say goodbye to lazy mornings playing at home, family beach days, and impromptu trips to the ice cream place. We’re just about ready to trade the heat and humidity for fall weather and back to school and pumpkin spice coffee. But before we do, here’s a little recap of our summer.
Nicholas painted for the first time
We celebrated the 4th of July in style
We had lazy mornings snuggling together on the couch
Mommy went to BlogHer ’15
We fostered Dax, a very sick puppy, for only 24 hours before he had to go back to the hospital
(I’m happy to report he’s doing really well now. If you’re interested in fostering or adopting, check out Mr. Bones & Co Rescue)
We celebrated Gia’s 5th birthday, Frozen style, even if it was the end of July and very, very hot.
Gia went horseback riding on her actual birthday
We fostered a second puppy, Brooklyn, for 2 weeks (and we loved her!)
We visited Yadi and napped on her couch. Mommy locked her keys in the car and there was a lot of waiting to get back in.
Nicholas had his first milkshake as a treat for being so good at the ENT
We made funny lollipop faces with our new faves: blow pops
We went on vacation to Wildwood NJ and wore our matching chevron dresses
We went to the boardwalk and went on rides with our cousins
We went to the Land of Make Believe and Gia rode a ferris wheel for the first time
